Desires of His Heart
After the death of her husband, a pious yet troubled lioness decides to reconnect with her small town community. Instead, she gets far more than what she hoped for when she falls for the local church's mysterious, ewe parish associate. The two women enter a secret, tumultous relationship, and soon they both must answer the haunting question: will they give into their repressed, darker desires - or will they heal from the tragedies that have defined their lives?

Retrospect of a Family Man
Conrad has it all as the ideal American man - but deep down, he is forever haunted by childhood trauma and the horrors of a war he was in. Unable to handle the disappointing banalities of his middle-class lifestyle, he soon spirals into a hidden life of violence, infidelity, and self-destruction. Yet day by day, the increasing pressures of his self-imposed guilt, violent self-loathing, and the impending weight of the consequences of his actions become more difficult to ignore. Soon, he must confront the ultimate question: can he escape the cycle of destruction, or is his fate already sealed?

All Frederick wants is to turn a new leaf over, to find some semblance of peace in his already chaotic and directionless life. With his sister coming back into his life through a flood of letters begging him to come back to the reservation, and the strong yearning to not rest until he makes a name for himself in the mainstream world of American literature with his poetry, his heart is being pulled in many directions.
Sashaverse
Sasha is a reclusive history major with a fascination for the macabre. Growing up in a conservative small town, she found solace in the digital world, where her interests in taboo topics flourished. Sasha's journey is ultimately an exploration of isolation, political radicalization, and the struggle to find connection in a world that often feels alien.
The Wellards
Barbara and Howard eloped to escape the weight of their small Southern town. After WWII, Howard's benefits from his military job land them a spot in a cozy suburban neighborhood. Soon, they must learn to navigate the social expectations of such an enviroment. But are they truly able to escape the weight of their pasts? (REVAMP IN PROGRESS.)
