Carol is a typical teenager in the 1960s. She is a huge nerd who enjoys science fiction and boy bands. She loves Star Trek and The Beatles, The Monkees, and The Beach Boys.

She is a part of the student council at her high school and usually excels in her home economics classes. She aspires to become a CEO. She becomes a secretary for an insurance company in New York City in the 1970s. Later on, she becomes the head of a group of women who create Spock/Kirk fanzines and become relatively well known within those circles of the Star Trek fanbase.
